Match Reviews & Highlights

Omega Retains the International Title
In a wild four-way encounter, Kenny Omega proved once again why he’s one of the best in the business. Despite strong performances from Castagnoli and Dorada, Omega secured the win with a dramatic One-Winged Angel on Brody King.

FTR vs. Templario & Atlantis Jr.
A technical clinic that blended old-school tag strategy with Lucha Libre style. FTR came out on top, but the respect shown after the match hinted at more cross-promotion in the future.

Women’s Tag Match
Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa brought flair and control to the bout, with Mina picking up the pin on Skye Blue. Their teamwork is improving quickly — a potential challenge for the women’s tag scene?

Moxley vs. Briscoe
Classic AEW chaos. Moxley controlled most of the match, though Briscoe got in some stiff offense. A Paradigm Shift sealed the win for Moxley, who remains one of AEW’s most dangerous solo competitors.

Six-Man Tag Match
This was high-flying madness from start to finish. La Facción Ingobernable dominated with ruthless teamwork and picked up the win, continuing their rise as a dangerous force in AEW.

Final Thoughts:

AEW Fyter Fest 2025 offered a mix of international flavor, elite-level wrestling, and storyline progression. Whether it was Omega’s title defense, Moxley’s brutality, or the dynamic six-man tag, the event delivered a memorable night for fans.

With more summer events ahead, AEW has set the bar high. Fyter Fest felt less like a TV special and more like a pay-per-view-level experience — and that’s exactly what wrestling fans want.
